Recreate the Look #2

We’re back again for another instance of Recreate the Look, still with our winter edition! I’m really enjoying this type of posts since it kind of allows me to go on a wild chase to find the most accurate items to match the inspiration picture I’m going off! I feel like it’s an entertaining little game, and I’m really happy to be able to share these with you!

Look to Recreate: Contrast wool-coat with black jeans, leather loafer and knit sweater

So for today’s look, I was actually searching for inspiration for semi-casual outfits that would be perfect for the office. Most of the time I work from home, and when I do tend to go to the office, it’s mostly for meetings where I tend to collaborate better in person with other people. I’m usually the type to throw on a blouse and some slacks for work and pair with a blazer, but with this cold, there was no way I was going to be able to survive the drive to work where I could finally be toasted with the heating!

So while I searching for inspiration for a camel coat (and you can actually see how I recommend styling it over here!) , I ended up stumbling upon this adorable outfit that’s semi-casual with the knitted top and straight-leg jeans. What I really like about this outfit is the coat with the integrated scarf.

I find the white stitches to be absolutely delightful, and they actually add a pretty contrast and let you see the style of the coat even better. Like I said, the matching scarf add its share of versatility since you can actually take it off or keep it when the wind is just chilling. The slightly oversize and classic cut of the coat really adds a flair of elegance to the simplest of outfits. Pairing it with a pair of leather loafers and a bag makes for the perfect finishing touch.
